Mom arrested for drunk driving at McDonalds with kids in car

An Ancaster woman who was going through a McDonalds drive-thru with her kids was arrested and charged with impaired driving Tuesday after staff suspected she had been drinking.

An Ancaster woman who was going through a McDonalds drive-thru with her kids was arrested and charged with impaired driving Tuesday after staff suspected she had been drinking.

Employees called police just before 6 p.m. while the woman was ordering food for her and her kids at the McDonalds at 1015 Golf Links Road in Ancaster.

Officers arrested the woman and took her to the police station where she failed a breathalyzer.

A 36-year-old woman was charged with impaired driving and driving with a blood alcohol level over 80 mgs.
