Centennial Parkway partially closed this weekend for rail bridge work

The Centennial Parkway is closed between Goderich Street and Arrowsmith Drive this weekend to move the CN train tracks to the newly constructed rail bridge.

Road to reopen by 5 a.m. Monday

The Centennial Parkway is closed between Goderich Street and Arrowsmith Drive this weekend to move the CN train tracks to the newly constructed rail bridge.

The train crossing gates will also be moved as part of the work.

Traffic will be diverted around this area and drivers are asked to follow posted detour signs. HSR Route 56-Centennial will also detour around this closure.  

The road is expected to reopen to traffic by 5 a.m. Monday.

The overall bridge work is scheduled to be completed by June, 2016, and traffic is expected to be moving under the bridge by December, 2015.
