A month-long investigation of a corner store in Grimsby has led to fraud charges against the owner of Milk N Things, who police say was selling counterfeit items.

Officers arrested the store owner on Wednesday.

They say the shop on Main Street West sold counterfeit water pipes and sunglasses with illegal trademarks. The total value of items is under $5000.

The owner faces charges for fraud, passing off wares and possession of property obtained by crime.

Police say the owner was released after promising to appear in court at a future date.
