Musician Michael St. George, former Hamilton Mayor Bob Morrow, and a host of others were honoured Saturday night at the 21st annual Rev. John Holland Awards.

The ceremony, which honours Hamilton's black community and its allies, was hosted at Liuna Station this year and was a huge success, said Louise Noel-Ambrose, administrator for the awards.

"The John C. Holland awards came of age at the entry point of immigrants into Hamilton so many years ago, Liuna Station," she said. "We are pleased to have the continued support and love from the people of Hamilton.

"2018 is going to be phenomenal."
