On Tuesday, jurors in Ontario Superior Court are hearing more about what investigators found on the phones of the two men charged in the 2013 death of Hamilton man Tim Bosma.

The testimony is covering text exchanges Dellen Milllard had with several woman he was romantically involved with, texts about his finances and also texts on the night that Bosma disappeared.

Texts on Dellen Millard's cellphone shown in a Hamilton court Monday indicate he planned to steal a Dodge 3500 truck like Tim Bosma's as far back as February 2012.

Hamilton police Det. Const. Craig Harrison began his testimony Monday by showing texts between Millard and a contact named "Say 10" — which the Crown alleges was a nickname for Mark Smich, his co-accused.

Millard, 30, of Toronto, and Smich, 28, of Oakville, Ont., have both pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder.

CBC Hamilton reporter Adam Carter is in the courtroom each day reporting live on the trial.
