The remains of two people were pulled from a house that burned down in South Cayuga, Ont., on Friday, the OPP said. 

Emergency crews were called around 9:15 a.m. on Friday to a house fire on Lakeshore Road and found the house fully engulfed in flames, police said.

It took a few hours to control and extinguish the fire, according to the OPP.

The fire completely destroyed the house, and crews searching the rubble found two bodies. The Ontario Fire Marshal and OPP forensic investigators are investigating.
