Pan Am: What you need to know in Hamilton Sunday, fireworks included
As Kanye West takes the stage in Toronto, Hamilton's Pan Am Games will end a little differently — with fireworks and an orchestra.
West, Pitbull and Serena Ryder will play the closing ceremonies in Toronto Sunday night. Organizers will also extinguish the Pan Am cauldron —made by ArcelorMittal Dofasco — at the base of the CN Tower. They will also hand off the Pan Am torch to Lima, Peru.
In Hamilton, everyone will gather on the waterfront. Since Saturday, people have been attending the Hamilton Waterfront Pan Am Cultural Showcase, which includes bands, music, arts and crafts and a large screen to watch the games. The company that does Supercrawl is organizing it.
The games officially end with fireworks by Circus Orange with National Academy Orchestra at 9:45 p.m. over Hamilton Harbour.

- Fireworks by Circus Orange with National Academy Orchestra at 9:45 p.m.
