One person died in an apartment building fire in Stoney Creek on Thursday evening.
Fire crews were called to 971 Queenston Rd. around 9:06 p.m. When they got there, they found a fire on a fourth-floor apartment and called more crews to the scene.

The Office of the Ontario Fire Marshal is investigating to determine how the fire started. Investigators are still estimating how much damage was done.
