Teens suspected to have robbed Mac's Milk in Dundas
Two male teenagers were arrested in Dundas after, police say, Mac's Milk was robbed by suspects with a gun.
A 15-year-old and 19-year-old, both male, have been charged with robbery with a firearm, and the older teen was also charged with disguise with intent.
Just after 12 a.m. Tuesday, the 19-year-old entered Mac's Milk on York Road in Dundas carrying a gun and wearing a mask. The teen demanded cash from the employee and, after obtaining a small amount, left the store, a police report says.
A witness in the area of Cootes Drive and York Road flagged police, notified them of the robbery and pointed out the suspect vehicle that was travelling northbound on York Road.
When police found the suspects in the area of York Road and Fieldgate Street, the teens tried to run away. They were arrested and brought to custody.
An investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is to call Detective Sergeant Andrea Torrie at 905-546-2955 or provide information anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online.
