Fog advisory warns of near-zero visibility in Hamilton
There was also a risk of freezing drizzle
Environment Canada warned, Tuesday morning, of thick fog and near-zero visibility in Hamilton.
The weather authority issued a fog advisory for the city and said there was also a risk of freezing drizzle that could make road surfaces and sidewalks slippery. The fog advisory was ended at 10:49 a.m. Tuesday morning.
"Visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero," stated the advisory. "Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility."
The weather agency said conditions were expected to improve throughout the morning.
