Brantford woman faces firearm charges after 2 men robbed of medication, cash: police

A Brantford woman is facing a long list of firearm-related charges, police say, after a person dressed in black entered a home and robbed two men of prescription medication and cash.

Investigators say a woman "disguised in all-black clothing" came into a home on Park Road North around 11:15 p.m. Sunday and brandished a firearm.

A 36-year-old woman has been taken into custody following an investigation on Sydenham Street Monday, according to police.

She's charged with robbery with a firearm, pointing a firearm, careless use of a firearm, using a firearm while committing an offence, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, disguise with intent, break and enter to commit an indictable offence, and two counts of possession contrary to a prohibition order.
