Artist-in-resident explores physical, psychological spaces that patients retreat to when in distress
Artist Bradley Necyk spent a year speaking to patients and family members at the organ and tissue transplant program of the University of Alberta Hospital.
In his exhibit called RETREAT at the hospital's McMullen Gallery, the artist-in-resident explores the physical and psychological spaces that patients retreat to when in a state of distress.
In the video, Necyk speaks with video producer Rick Bremness about the time he spent with patients and their families in the transplant program.
The show runs until May 1.
