Man charged with 2nd-degree murder in Edmonton river valley stabbing
Police say 19-year-old victim and suspect fought prior to homicide
A 21-year-old man has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of 19-year-old Christopher Fawcett.

Fawcett's body was found on Saturday night by police just north of Fox Drive near the Alfred H. Savage Centre. He had been stabbed to death.
Police say the suspect was found near the crime scene on Saturday and was initially considered a person of interest in the case. The two men knew each other and had fought, according to police.
The suspect has also been charged with possession of a dangerous weapon, assaulting a peace office and resisting arrest.
