While the wildfire forced the evacuation of more than 80,000 people, the majority of the city remains intact.

Despite the efforts of firefighters working round the clock, some neighbourhoods such as Beacon Hill and Abasand are all but gone.

The following images were taken by Google's Terra Bella platform on May 1 and on May 6.
