Correctional Service of Canada reviewing death of Edmonton inmate
In 2013 Jason Croft was sentenced to a 11 year and seven month sentence
The Correctional Service of Canada will be reviewing the Wednesday morning death of an inmate at the Edmonton maximum security prison.
Jason Croft, 38, was found unresponsive in his cell. Staff members began performing CPR and Croft was transported to the Fort Saskatchewan Hospital.
He was pronounced dead at the hospital at 11:03 a.m..
Croft was sentenced on April 29th, 2013 to an 11 year and seven month sentence for a multitude of weapon and drug trafficking crimes.
The police and medical examiner have been notified.
