Downtown landmark to downtown eyesore?

For more than 50 years, the Bank of Montreal Building was a staple in Edmonton's downtown core. The building was mostly demolished in 2018 except for the basement and stone foundation. Since then, the lot has sat vacant — fenced off, with no further development. Now, the city has put out a survey asking Edmontonians for their thoughts and experiences with the property. Cheryll Watson is the chair of the Downtown Revitalization Coalition.
