Edmonton collision fatalities are trending upwards, according to Edmonton police. So far this year, numbers have surpassed the past two full years. It's concerning not only for law enforcement, but for those advocating for safe streets.

For more than 50 years, the Bank of Montreal Building was a staple in Edmonton's downtown core. The building was mostly demolished in 2018 except for the basement and stone foundation. Since then, the lot has sat vacant — fenced off, with no further development. Now, the city has put out a survey asking Edmontonians for their thoughts and experiences with the property.
