East Timor opens tent embassy in Ottawa

A new embassy opened in Ottawa Thursday, in a tent. It's the unofficial embassy of East Timor set up by protestors marking Friday's anniversary of East Timor's annexation by Indonesia.

The Protest also featured the swearing in of East Timor's unofficial acting ambassador to Canada, Bella Galhos.

The tent embassy is part of the East Timor Freedom camp located at the foot of the human rights monument on Parliament Hill.
