Dr. McQuigge wraps up testimony in Walkerton

Walkerton's medical officer of health has wrapped up his testimony at the tainted water inquiry.

Dr. Murray McQuigge faced more fierce cross examination on Wednesday.

The lawyer for Walkerton's former water manager once again asserted that his client never told health officials last May that the water was safe.

Bill Trudell maintains Stan Koebel only told health officials that he wasn't aware of any problems.

The inquiry has heard that Stan Koebel did indeed have a fax showing E.coli in the water.

Seven people died and 2,300 got sick after drinking contaminated water.
