Trans-Canada Highway between Revelstoke and Golden reopens after 'vehicle incident'
Highway reopens after being closed for several hours
The Trans-Canada Highway has reopened between Revelstoke and Golden, B.C., after being closed for several hours due to a serious 'vehicle accident.'
The 148-kilometre stretch of highway was shut down Monday morning according to a notice posted online at about 10:30 a.m.
Traffic analysis attended the scene of the accident in Glacier National Park west of Golden.
No alternate routes where available while the road was closed, DriveBC said.
