3-year-old dies after being hit by car in northeast Calgary
Police continue to investigate but say speed and alcohol are not considered factors in the fatality
A three-year-old boy is dead after he was hit by a car in northeast Calgary on Friday.
Police say the incident took place around 8:40 a.m. in the 1800 block of Valleyview Road N.E.
The boy was taken to hospital in life-threatening condition and later died.
Police say speed and alcohol are not considered factors in the death.
That part of Vista Heights is closed to traffic as police continue to investigate.
