Synchronized skaters gather in Calgary for competition
Canada's best synchronized skating teams competed for a spot on the world stage this weekend in Calgary.
More than 40 teams, including 900 skaters and coaches, have been vying for perfect performances.
"It's way harder than it looks," said Andrea St. Cyr, a coach here in Calgary.
"It's all about unison and precision, making sure you're where you're supposed to be. It's a fine balance."
This year's winners are headed to Boston for the World Championships in April.
