Two men sent to hospital after stabbing in northwest parking lot

Two men were rushed to hospital on Saturday afternoon after a stabbing in a northwest restaurant parking lot.

Two men were rushed to hospital on Saturday afternoon after a stabbing in a northwest restaurant parking lot.

Police said one man was stabbed and another was slashed in the face.

According to Stuart Brideaux with EMS, the stabbing took place at approximately 2:30 p.m. on the 1700 block of Second Street N.W.

"It was the result of some sort of altercation in a public space or parking lot of that block address," Brideaux said.

Police said one man was taken into custody at the scene and they continue to look for an additional suspect.

No update was immediately available on the condition of the two men sent to hospital.
