Calgary police released grainy security video Tuesday taken before a deadly stabbing in hopes the public may help identify four people captured in the footage.

Rochelle Ziegfried Manguinao, known to his friends and family as Ziggy Pecson, 19,was suffering from stab wounds outside a downtown club in September andlater died in hospital.

Witnesses told police there was a confrontation between Pecson and several men. Investigators believe he was stabbed and then swarmed by the group who kicked and stomped on him.

Police released a 20-second video clip taken moments before the incident that shows four men standing in a row. They won't say if the men are suspects, only that they may have valuable information about Pecson's stabbing.

The man on the far left is described as brown-skinned and possibly Indo-Canadian, wearing a white T-shirt with a black design on the back, jeans and running shoes.

The man second from the left has a light-to-medium toned complexion, is about five feet 10 inches tall, with spiky black hair and a mole on the left side of his face. He was wearing a black, nylon jacket with white stripes on the sleeves, over a full zipper, red hoodie.

The man on the far right has been described as Asian with acne scarring on his face and short, spiky hair, wearing thick, black eyeglass frames.

The last person is described by witnesses as being brown-skinned with facial hair on his chin, shorter black hair, and wearing a long-sleeve, white shirt.

Pecson can be seen in the video with his back to the camera.

"We're just showing this one small clip because we don't want to impact the witness statements," said Staff-Sgt. Kevin Forsen. "We want them to tell us what happened that evening, not what happened in the video."
