Okotoks suspect in custody after firing shot at bailiff who served court documents
Okotoks RCMP responded to the scene and took man into custody

RCMP say a man is in custody after firing a shot at a bailiff who attended his home to serve him court documents.
According to a release, RCMP were called to a residence on Stanley Avenue in Okotoks, Alta., at approximately 9 a.m. Saturday after receiving a report of a shot fired.
Okotoks RCMP, as well as High River and Turner Valley RCMP, responded to the scene and secured the area, initially asking nearby residents to stay inside their homes.
No one was injured as the incident unfolded and the man was taken into custody. He is now facing multiple charges, according to RCMP.
The situation in Okotoks has ended. A suspect is now in custody and blocked off areas have been reopened.

RCMP Cst. Kathleen Fossen said no other information about the incident was available at this time.
