Peter Demong has reclaimed his seat in this two-man show for Ward 14. He joined council as a newcomer after defeating alderman Linda Fox-Mellway here in 2010.
Another challenger last time, Shawn Kao, had been looking for a chair at the council table again this time around. Taxes and transportation are key issues here in the conservative-minded, single-family home suburban heartland.
