Man charged in fatal weekend stabbing
34-year-old faces manslaughter charge after man stabbed to death in southeast Calgary
A Calgary man has been charged in connection with a fatal stabbing Saturday night.
Police were called to the 3900 block of 17th Avenue S.E. at about 10:30 p.m. MT for reports of an injured man outside a coffee shop.
He was taken to hospital but died from his injuries Sunday morning.
It is believed that a drug-related altercation had taken place, say police.
A 34-year-old man has been charged with manslaughter.
The cause of death and the victim’s name will be released after an autopsy is completed Tuesday, police said.
