Justin McKinnon-Blomme, 21, missing for almost a month

Calgary police continue to look for a young man who has been missing since late last month.

Calgary police continue to look for a young man who has been missing since late last month.

Justin McKinnon-Blomme, 21, was last seen at about 10:30 p.m. MT on Sept. 24 after leaving a party.

He was dropped off by friends at Acadia Drive and Southland Drive S.E., police said.

His parents said they have been searching for him each day since his disappearance, including setting up a Facebook page and launching a social media campaign.

"Each day he has gone missing seems to have become the worst day of our lives," said mother Karleen Thibault.

It’s alleged McKinnon-Blomme had been assaulted at the party earlier in the evening.

A 20-year-old man was charged in relation to this incident, which is not believed to be directly related to McKinnon-Blomme’s disappearance.

He is described as white, approximately five feet eight inches tall, and roughly 140 pounds with a slim build.

He was wearing a black leather jacket and dark jeans when last seen.

McKinnon-Blomme sometimes goes by the name Justin Rhodes. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.

Justin McKinnon-Blomme was last seen on Sept. 24. He left a party at approximately 8:15 p.m. to go to a nearby liquor store. After returning to the party, he was last seen around 10:30 p.m. when he was dropped off by friends at Acadia Drive and Southland Drive S.E. (Calgary Police Service)
