Fresh evidence in decade-old Calgary shooting death prompts renewed call for tips

Police say they have new evidence concerning the shooting death of a Calgary man more than 10 years ago in parking garage in the city’s southwest.

Police say they have new evidence concerning the shooting death of a Calgary man more than 10 years ago in parking garage in the city's southwest.

Allan Richard Teather, 22, was found shot to death in his vehicle, which was parked in the underground parkade of a condo building in the 100 block of Village Heights S.W. on Jan. 9, 2008.

Armed with newly collected information, investigators are asking members of the public for any tips that could help them determine the events leading up to Teather's death, police said in a release.

Police believe the killing was targeted and financially motivated.
