To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the "Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth," CBC looks back at some of the show homes over the last 60 years.

The Calgary Stampede has been holding its Dream Home contest since 1958.

This year’s 2377 square foot home features vaulted ceilings, a wine-tasting room and walls clad in old world brick. It will be located in the southeast community of Walden with the price tag of $745,950.

The draw happens next Wednesday.

The primary function of the Calgary Stampede Lotteries is to support local charities.

In the past 10 years, more than $22 million has been distributed to community projects in southern Alberta.

Proceeds from the Calgary Stampede Lotteries benefit five not-for-profit organizations: the Calgary North Hill Lions Club, the Kinsmen Club of Calgary, the Rotary Club of Calgary South, the Calgary Stampede Foundation and the Calgary Marching Show Band Association — which ensure funds are allocated to valuable programs and organizations.
