Heavy snowfall warning issued for Calgary and area
A heavy snowfall warning has been issued for Calgary.
Environment Canada is warning that 10 to 20 centimetres could fall by Tuesday afternoon.
The areas around Claresholm and Brooks could see the most snow, with up to 25 centimetres, warned the weather agency.
Snow fell overnight into Monday morning and police report that there were four injury collisions and 137 non-injury collisions between midnight and 4 p.m. MT.
Calgary police are warning drivers to be careful and slow down.
