Ex Stampeder Joffrey Reynolds to be let out of custody
Star running back from Texas faces assault charges and immigration issues
Former Calgary Stampeder Joffrey Reynolds has been ordered released from custody by border services officials.
The 32-year-old Texan was arrested after an alleged attack on his former girlfriend on the weekend. He was charged with assault and break-and-enter.
At an immigration board hearing Wednesday in Calgary, Reynolds was granted release from custody on the condition that he contact the board twice per month.
Reynolds was a top running-back for the Stampeders for eight years before his release after last season.
