Wednesday, Dec. 12: Old School Bake Sale
The beloved bake sale is back! Join us in the lobby of the Suncor Energy Centre (150 - 6 Avenue SW) this Wednesday at noon. Bakeries across Calgary have generously donated their delicious goodies, so all money collected goes straight to the Calgary Food Bank.
Participating bakeries include Yann Haute Patisserie, Decadent Brulee and Ollia Macarons. Even CBC's own Jenny Howe and Julie Van Rosendaal will bring some of their expert home baking. Supplies are limited so be sure to line up early.
Wednesday, Dec. 12: One Gray Knight Coffee Sales
Coffee at night? Angela Knight is bringing One Gray Knight coffee to Analog Coffee in Southcentre Mall (100 Anderson Road SE) this Wednesday at 5 p.m. If you are not a morning person, you will want to catch this sale; this is the only time this year that One Gray Knight will be sold outside the wee hours of the morning.
Each set includes a 3/4 pound bag of Fratello coffee and a CBC Calgary mug. Sets are $20 each with all proceeds going directly to the Calgary Food Bank.
Thursday, Dec. 13: Ang & Jules' Big Night Out Auction
Angela Knight and Julie Van Rosendaal are hitting the town—and you're invited!
Angela and Julie are taking the lucky winner (plus three friends!) on a culinary tour of Inglewood. Start with beer and appies at Dandy, continue with mains at Gorilla Whale and finish with dessert at the Deane House.
