Tourism Calgary has launched a new pedal-powered mobile information kiosk for visitors and Calgarians looking for information on what's going on in the city over the summer months.

The Wi-Fi-enabled kiosk is towed by a bike and will be hitting the streets for events, festivals and attractions throughout the summer, offering itinerary planning and suggestions for things to see and do.

Cindy Ady is the CEO of Tourism Calgary. (CBC)

"If you want to know where the mobile kiosk is you can go to #askmeYYC and find out where it's located that day, " said Tourism Calgary CEO Cindy Ady.

"As Calgarians are staying closer to home this year we think it's a really great idea. There's so much to do in Calgary."

Ady says there are also portable tents around the city offering similar information.
