Calgarians protest violence in Syria, Egypt
More than 100 rally to call for an end to bloodshed
More than 100 people came to city hall in Calgary on Saturday to call for an end to the violence in Syria and Egypt.
Although police were present, the protest was peaceful.
The two countries are experiencing very different conflicts, but the crowd was united in calling for an end to bloodshed in both Syria and Egypt.
The demonstrators also expressed concern about the reported use of chemical weapons in an attack by Syrian government forces this week.
