March 22, 2006: The B.C. Ferries vessel, with 101 passengers and crew on board, sinks in the early morning hours of March 22, 2006, while travelling from Prince Rupert to Port Hardy on Vancouver Island.

Southwest B.C. had strong numbers on housing starts in 2022, report finds, but more still needed

Last year's housing starts in Southwest B.C. were the second-highest ever, according to the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia, though the organization and other experts say more are still needed for Canada's rapidly growing population.
