Police say a 73-year-old woman was stabbed several times in her home in the 1500 block of Adanac Street early Sunday morning.
The suspect fled and the woman made her way to a neighbour's home to call 911. She is recovering from her injuries in hospital.
Kenneth Nolan Kirton, 45, of Surrey, is wanted on a warrant for attempted murder, robbery and failing to comply with an undertaking.
He is described as an aboriginal male around five feet five inches tall with a thin build. He has short black hair, brown eyes and a scar on the bridge of his nose. He has the word 'LOVE' tattooed on his left fingers and was last seen wearing a black jacket.
