Charges pending after one victim comes forward to police
A 38-year-old Burnaby man has turned himself in after he allegedly sexually assaulted three women on the SkyTrain over the Labour Day long weekend.
The suspect is believed to have boarded a SkyTrain at Edmonds Station in Burnaby, headed for downtown Vancouver, at around 11:30 a.m. PT on Saturday, August 31.
The suspect then allegedly moved behind a woman and began rubbing and touching her in a sexual manner before she moved away.
The suspect is alleged to have then touched at least two other women in a similar manner, although only the first victim came forward to police.
