B.C.'s New Year's baby born minutes after midnight in Surrey

Grayson Heinrich Jackson was born at 12:15 a.m. PT at Surrey Memorial Hospital weighing in at a healthy 8 lb. 9 oz., or close to 4 kilograms.

B.C. 's New Year's baby is a boy!

Grayson Heinrich Jackson was born at 12:15 a.m. PT at Surrey Memorial Hospital weighing in at a healthy 8 lb., 9 oz. or close to four kilograms. 

Baby Grayson, mother Naomi Voss Hans and father Ryan Jackson are doing fine. 

The family is from Fort Nelson but spent the end of the pregnancy in Jackson's home town of Surrey.
