MMA fighter "Ruthless" Ryan Chiappe not allowed within 50 km of Prince George
A competitive mixed martial arts fighter who calls himself "Ruthless" Ryan Chiappe has been banished from Prince George, B.C. after he allegedly stole a pit bull puppy.
Prince George RCMP say they've had nearly 100 interactions with him since 2007.
"We received a report of a stolen puppy and through that investigation we determined that the subject of that theft, who was Ryan Chiappe, was also suspected in an assault causing bodily harm," said Cpl. Craig Douglass.
Police say they found the pitbull puppy and two stolen motorcycles in Chiappe's possession.
He now faces a slew of charges, including assault causing bodily harm, obstructing justice, theft and uttering threats.
As part of his bail conditions, Chiappe was told he can't come within 50 kilometres of Prince George, except for his court appearances.
