Mission ammonia leak: Lougheed Highway 7 reopens
An ammonia leak at a food processing plant closed the route early Friday morning.
Lougheed Highway was closed around 3 a.m. PT because of leak at B.C. Frozen Foods plant

Police have reopened Lougheed Highway 7 in Mission, B.C., after an ammonia leak at a food processing plant closed the route early Friday morning.
The leak was first reported at B.C. Frozen Foods around 3 a.m. PT. It has since been contained and hazmat crews have inspected the plant.
No injuries have been reported as a result of the leak.
Police closed the Loughheed Highway from the junction with Highway 11 to Manson Street, along with a nearby boat launch on the Fraser River.
The highway was reopened around 7:30 a.m. The CP Rail line in the area was also closed, but has since been reopened.
