Young children may be happier giving away their treats than they are receiving them, a University of B.C. study suggests.
In one part of the study involving children under two years old, the children were given treats, like Goldfish or graham crackers. A few minutes later, they were asked to give one to a puppet.
Based on the toddlers' reactions, researchers found they were happier gifting the treats.
