Incumbents sweep Metro Vancouver mayoral races
Three new mayors elected in Fraser Valley races
Voters across Metro Vancouver have re-elected mayors in nearly every municipal election, including New Westminster, Burnaby, Surrey, Richmond, North Vancouver, Port Coquitlam, Coquitlam, Delta, Langley and Port Moody.
In contrast to the re-election of incumbents in Metro Vancouver, three new mayors were elected in the Fraser Valley.
Metro Vancouver results:
Vancouver Mayor Gregor Robertson is leading with 71,853 votes ahead of rival Suzanne Anton with 55,170.
Surrey Mayor Dianne Watts has been re-elected with 53,000 votes, well ahead of Ross Buchanan with 6,047.
Maple Ridge Mayor Ernie Daykin has been re-elected with 7,394 votes, ahead of rival Craig Ruthven with 4,958.
New Westminster Mayor Wayne Wright has been re-elected with 6,633 votes, ahead of James Crosty with 3,139.
North Vancouver District Mayor Richard Walton has been re-elected 9,897 votes, ahead of Marjorie Goodman with 2,241.
White Rock Mayoral candidate Wayne Baldwin has been re-elected with 2,169 votes, ahead of Lynne Sinclair 1,690.
Burnaby Mayor Derek Corrigan has been re-elected with 25,055 votes, ahead of Tom Tao with 5,450.
Richmond Mayor Malcolm Brodie has been re-elected with 20,955 votes, putting him ahead of rival Richard Lee with 9,045.

City of North Vancouver Mayor Darrell Mussatto has been re-elected with 5,037 votes, ahead of rival Ron Polly with 758.
West Vancouver Mayoral candidate Michael Smith has been acclaimed.
Port Coquitlam Mayor Greg Moore has been re-elected with 5,827 ahead of rival William Issa with 1,691.
Delta Mayor Lois Jackson was re-elected with 1,231 votes, ahead of rival Krista Engelland with 566.
Port Moody Coun. Mike Clay has been elected mayor 3,154, ahead of rival Robert Simons with 2,019.
Coquitlam Mayor Richard Stewart been re-elected with 10,050 votes, besting rival Barrie Lynch at 7,591.
Belcarra Mayoral candidate Ralph Drew has been acclaimed.
Pitt Meadows Mayoral candidate Deb Walters has been elected with 2,025 votes, easily outpolling John Becker with 1,202.
New mayors in the Fraser Valley
Langley Township Mayoral candidate Jack Froese has been elected with 7,706 votes, ahead of Coun. Mel Kositsky at 6,522 and incumbent Mayor Rick Green with 4,466.
Abbotsford Mayoral candidate Bruce Banman has been elected with 13,837 votes, ahead of incumbent George Peary with 12,694.
Mission Mayoral candidate Ted Adlem was elected with 3,728 votes, ahead of incumbent James Atebe with 2,465.
City of Langley Mayor Peter Fassbender has been re-elected with 2,455 votes, ahead of Ron Agrall with 983.
