Bank robber in drag has Surrey RCMP asking for help

Police have identified the suspect as an Asian male wearing a long, blonde curly wig and a patterned dress.

A cross-dressing bank robber has the Surrey RCMP asking for the public's help.

Police say the robbery happened Dec 29 around 6 p.m. PT, when an Asian male dressed as a woman robbed a bank in the 15100 block of 101st Avenue in Surrey, near the Guildford Mall.

The suspect was wearing a patterned dress, white woolen sweater, blonde long, curly wig and pink toque, according to a police statement.

Surveillance cameras captured images of the man and his unique disguise. 

No one was injured and the suspect fled on foot.
