The Toyota Land Cruiser sustained damage to its front end, and the taxi only came to a stop after knocking some of the Fragrant Wood Gallery's artwork to the ground.
Paramedics with the B.C. Ambulance Service took two people to hospital with minor injuries.
The crash had Granville Street's southbound lanes closed for about an hour, while first responders and then tow truck drivers took care of the damage.
