CBC Vancouver is proud to return as the exclusive radio and TV sponsor of the Talking Stick Festival, the largest multi-disciplinary Indigenous arts festival of its kind in North America.

In celebration of its 20th anniversary, the festival is delivering special programming all year in each of the four seasons. Summer Sojourn, June 1 – July 1, is a vibrant month-long online presentation of Indigenous performance and art including concerts, dance, visual art, storytelling, theatre, film and more.

Event highlights include the audio-visual works of Embodying Power and Place (June 3 to July 1 on demand), and Tara Williamson and the Good Liars in concert (June 18).

The festival's theme for 2021 is Season of Four Fires, and the Summer Sojourn fire is a call to the Four Corners of Turtle Island and a celebration of Indigenous people and all they've survived throughout the millennia.
