This year, the event is celebrating its 12th anniversary with a return to exciting in-person experiences and events, both ticketed and free, that reflect diversity in contemporary arts.

In light of today's most pressing concerns, the 2022 festival theme is 'Inner/Outer Climates' – a nod to the quest for personal and planetary health and wellness. Event highlights such as Imaginarium: Parables for a Planet in Crisis, Modern Biology and Song of the Breath address the theme along with a diverse cast of local and global writers, filmmakers, musicians, performers, dancers, artists and healers.

On July 10, join CBC Vancouver News at 6 host Anita Bathe at the ISF Sound System – an afternoon of free musical performances in the heart of Granville Island's Public Market courtyard. Come and grab a bite from the market and enjoy the sounds of South Asian classical and contemporary music.
