Celebrate International Women's Day with Anita Bathe
2020 Equality Breakfast | March 6

CBC Vancouver's Anita Bathe will host West Coast LEAF's annual fundraiser - the Equality Breakfast - on March 6, 2020. Now in its 35th year, the event celebrates International Women's Day and raises much needed support for the organization's work in equality rights litigation, law reform and public legal education.
This year, the breakfast features keynote speaker Sandy Hudson, founder of the Black Lives Matter movement in Canada, and public intellectual and political activist.
Hudson also sits on the Black Lives Matter Global Network Strategy Table, is Vice-Chair of the Black Legal Action Centre, is co-host of the Sandy and Nora Talk Politics podcast, is the Editor-in-Residence of Kalamazoo College's Praxis Center for Social Justice, and regularly contributes to several major newspapers in the United States and Canada.
