'Our Shot: Vaccinating B.C.' is available now on YouTube

On March 10, CBC Vancouver's Stephen Quinn and Anita Bathe hosted Our Shot: Vaccinating B.C.: a free, online public town hall about the COVID-19 vaccine and what you need to know before receiving immunization.   

Health professionals and authorities, including Dr. Bonnie Henry, B.C.'s provincial health officer, answered audience questions about the COVID-19 vaccine and its rollout across the province.

Community Conversations

We started the conversations on March 3 before the town hall with two, free, virtual one-hour discussions about the COVID-19 vaccine and how it affects Indigenous and multicultural communities.

CBC Vancouver's Angela Sterritt and Dr. Shannon McDonald, Acting Chief Medical Officer, First Nations Health Authority, held a discussion about the cultural and geographical considerations of COVID-19 vaccine distribution in B.C.'s Indigenous communities.

COVID-19 vaccines and multicultural communities 

CBC Vancouver's Isabelle Raghem and Dr. Gina Ogilvie, Women's Health Research Institute, held a discussion about the COVID-19 vaccine and effective rollout and communication in B.C.'s multicultural communities.
