Clayoquot Sound protesters reunite

This weekend, 20 years after people gathered in Clayoquot Sound to protest logging and call for the preservation of B.C's ancient forests, activists will reunite in Tofino.

Protesters from the 'war in the woods' will gather this weekend in Clayoquot Sound

It was one of the largest acts of civil disobedience in Canadian history.

In 1993, 12,000 people gathered in Clayoquot Sound to protest logging and call for the preservation of B.C.'s ancient forests.

This weekend, many of the original protesters are gathering in Tofino to mark the 20-year anniversary.
