15-year old Chilliwack striker scored an early goal to lead Canada to victory at the U-17 Women's World Cup
Name: Jordyn Huitema
Teams: Canadian U-17 national team, Whitecaps FC Girls Elite
Story: The striker is one of the youngest players on the Under-17 Canadian National Team. Two years ago she scored the penalty shoot-out goal that won Canada the gold medals at the CONCACAF Under-15 Championships. Earlier this year Huitema had a chance to train with the Senior Women's National team and her idol, Christine Sinclair.
